Allwyn, the operator of the UK National Lottery, reaffirmed its dedication to responsible gambling with a new campaign.
The company has announced its new multi-channel campaign, "Add some play to Christmas," which promotes the National Lottery Scratchcards as a fun way for individuals to come together.
The National Lottery operator is delighted to support NCPG once again
Under the new campaign, Allwyn once again joined forces with the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG).
Signing up for the NCPG's 2025 Gift Responsibly Campaign this year, Allwyn was designated as the highest possible sponsor level, a Level 3 sponsor.
Jordana Jackson, Allwyn's Head of Participant Protection, spoke on the matter, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"Since becoming National Lottery operator early last year, we’ve made great progress on our participant protection plans," she said.
Moreover, Jackson pointed out: "We’re proud to once again be supporting the NCPG’s Gift Responsibly Campaign and, for the first time in the UK National Lottery’s history, commit to Level 3 sponsorship – the highest level of support possible."
Finally, the executive stressed that while the new initiative highlights the fun and festiveness of National Lottery Scratchcards, it also reiterates that such lottery products are strictly for adults.
Creative assets will raise awareness that lottery games are for adults 18 or older
Under Allwyn's commitment to the NCPG as a Level 3 supporter, it will carry out an "18+ Gift Responsibly" campaign.
As a result, in gifting-related and festive advertising, the lottery operator will remind its customers that in order to buy, gift, receive and play, consumers need to be 18 or older.
Through newly created bespoke creative assets, Allwyn will promote responsible play.
As a result, users will view such content via Allwyn and The UK National Lottery's official social media channels.
Not unexpectedly, the responsible gambling campaign will benefit from retail exposure via National Lottery media screens in stores across the country.
Moreover, Allwyn will promote its "18+ Gift Responsibly" campaign online.
The new initiative complements Allwyn's dedication to responsible gambling, which includes extensive employee training for underage gambling prevention.
The lottery operator has also previously organized a mystery shopping campaign that checked the knowledge and compliance of National Lottery retailers.
