The leading entertainment company, slot machine and casino game manufacturer, Aristocrat Leisure Limited, confirmed major changes to its senior-level management team.
Moti Malul and Natalie Toohey step down from their roles
On Friday, the company announced the upcoming departure of Aristocrat Interactive's CEO, Moti Malul.
Per a press release, Malul will depart from the company, effective in March 2026, which follows the completion of his notice period along with other "contractual obligations."
Separately, Aristocrat confirmed the departure of its Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Natalie Toohey.
After holding the senior-level role for nearly seven years, she has decided to step down from her position to pursue new opportunities.
Aristocrat revealed that it has already chosen successors for the two senior-level roles.
The company said that it selected Dylan Slaney for the role of CEO at Aristocrat Interactive.
This strategic choice comes after a "comprehensive global search," Aristocrat said, confirming that Slaney is expected to assume the role on November 3, 2025.
The appointment of the new CEO is contingent on securing the relevant regulatory approvals.
Just as important, Aristocrat selected a successor for the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer role, naming Barry French.
As a result, the executive will immediately assume the expanded role of Chief Corporate Affairs and Marketing Officer, succeeding Toohey.
Still, the outgoing executive will ensure the smooth transition of responsibilities while providing guidance and advice under a "consulting arrangement," as explained by Aristocrat.
Earlier this year, Aristocrat was among several top gambling firms that joined forces with Hasbro, signing new multi-year licensing deals.
The C-suite appointments complement Aristocrat's growth strategy
Holding the role of CEO at Aristocrat Interactive, Slaney will report directly to Aristocrat Group's Managing Director and CEO, Trevor Croker.
The same applies to the French, who will hold the dual role.
While Slaney will be based in London, UK, French is going to be located in Las Vegas, Nevada, the United States.
Commenting on the latest senior-level change, Croker said: "As we begin a new fiscal year, I am pleased to share two leadership appointments that consolidate the strong progress we've achieved and will help Aristocrat accelerate delivery of our strategy."
Moreover, the executive added: "I am delighted to welcome leaders of the caliber of Dylan and Barry to the Aristocrat executive team. Both are values-led leaders with collaborative and customer-centric mindsets."
Slaney has a B.A in Business Studies from the University of Derby.
He has a track record in helping companies expand while leveraging a customer-centric approach that leads to transformative growth.
Prior to assuming the role of Aristocrat Interactive CEO, Slaney most recently led Light & Wonder's iGaming business as CEO.
On the other hand, French has a B.A in Political Science from Bates College, as well as an MA in International Affairs from Columbia University.
Throughout his career, spanning more than 35 years, he has accumulated significant leadership experience in a range of industries, including aerospace, defense, transport and technology sectors.
