Bally’s Corporation has introduced a new initiative in time for Problem Gambling Awareness Month with the company launching its "Game In Good Hands" campaign designed to raise awareness and offer customers a wider array of options to support them through difficult gaming spells.
Bally’s spearheads new responsible gambling initiative
Above all else, the Game in Good Hands campaign is designed to raise awareness among consumers and drive safe and responsible gambling messages to the audience in general while also putting a focus on at-risk individuals and groups.
Commenting on the launch of this new program in a statement, Bally’s CEO Robeson Reeves said that the company was excited to introduce this new initiative designed to protect consumers, and said:
"This initiative highlights Bally’s dedication to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all users of its gaming products worldwide."
Bally’s has been a long-standing advocate for responsible gambling, a member of the Responsible Online Gaming Association and the American Gaming Association, supporting various initiatives designed to specifically limit any potential gambling-related harm.
The company has had a hands-on approach to responsible gambling, going out of its way to enhance its understanding of the vertical and provide its players with the best possible protection that are up to industry standards.
The company has resorted to numerous initiatives, including extensive employee training and education. In 2023 alone, a total of 9,000 employees spent 3,000 hours educating themselves about responsible gambling mandates.
Bally’s also offers player support tools that are designed to foster responsible gambling, and in instances where players feel that they are spending too much, they can use these tools, such as deposit limits and self-exclusion, to limit their exposure to gaming.
Bally’s and others scramble to strengthen RG measures
Bally’s has also been partial to other national initiatives, such as Responsible Gaming Education Month, among others. On the occasion of Problem Gambling Awareness Month, Casino Guru has reached out to a number of operators and safer gambling advocates who shared their advice for this year’s edition of the campaign.
In the meantime, Bally’s is not the only company to have shown a zeal for strengthening its responsible gambling programs, with MGM Resorts and BetMGMannouncing similar ambitious moves just recently.
