BGaming has closed the book on Avimasters’ full year of operation. The viral casual game has proven to be one of the supplier and developer’s most successful titles. Starting tentatively in the crash genre, BGaming has been able to soar to new heights through its game, which has set multiple records over the past months.
BGaming’s Avimasters proves a surprising crash-style hit
The game was introduced in July 2024 and quickly struck home with players from all over the world. As time has gone by, the game’s popularity has only increased, with the title receiving 500m views on TikTok, with 200 new videos featuring the game posted on the platform every day.
Avimasters has grown organically on social media, far exceeding BGaming’s original intentions and demonstrating that a well-crafted crash game can compete against other heavy-hitters in the sector. BGaming has simply chosen the term "banger" for its record-setting title.
BGaming CMO Kate Puteiko has welcomed the opportunity to share this success story with wider audiences:
"When we launched Aviamasters a year ago, we could have only dreamed about how successful it has been. The game’s viral popularity and strategic value are clear. Not only has it helped establish BGaming as a leading voice in the casual gaming space, but it has also helped our partners attract millions of customers. We can’t wait to showcase the game, as well as many of our other gaming products, at SBC Lisbon this September."
Unlike other games, Avimasters continues to gain momentum
BGaming has sought to set itself apart by incorporating a physics-based mechanic that focuses away from the traditional "crash" event to a successful landing that players ought to perform. This approach has resulted in a deeply engaging and intuitive experience, where players will try to navigate the plane to a safe landing.
In the past five months, the game has seen an uptake of 740% new players, with Avimasters not slowing down any time soon, as there has been a consistent week-on-week gain in the number of new players.
The game will also be featured at the upcoming SBC Lisbon event in September, where BGaming will attend and talk about the success of its unique crash game.
