The leading iGaming software, content, solutions and services supplier, catering to sports betting, casino, payments and affiliate companies across the globe, EveryMatrix, strengthened its team with a senior-level appointment.
On Tuesday, the company confirmed it hired the former Light & Wonder and IGT executive, Marc Burroughes, for the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of its Casino division.
The CCO will oversee the commercial strategy of EveryMatrix's Casino division
Joining EveryMatrix, the executive brings more than 20 years of experience within the online gambling industry.
As CCO, Burroughes will be in charge of the company's Casino division, which is powered by its flagship integration platform, CasinoEngine.
The new CCO's responsibilities will include the development of CasinoEngine's commercial strategy, as well as its expansion.
Burroughes is expected to play a key role in the release of the upcoming EngageSuite product, which will reach existing and new customers across the globe.
The CCO will also collaborate with EveryMatrix Games and SlotMatrix teams, among other strategic priorities that are expected to deliver success for EveryMatrix in the short and long term.
As CCO, Burroughes is going to report to the company's casino business unit CEO, Stian Enger.
The newly appointed executive brings solid experience
Burroughes revealed that he is delighted to join EveryMatrix and play a major role in the company's future growth, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"The group’s casino division is among the best I’ve seen in my 17 years in the industry and it still has room to significantly grow," the new CCO added.
Finally, Burroughes said: " I want to maximize all the opportunities we’ve identified and I’m confident we can achieve some big targets."
Ebbe Groes, EveryMatrix's Group CEO and Co-Founder, added: "Marc has a strong track record working in senior positions for some of the industry’s major providers and delivering premium casino solutions for tier-1 brands."
"As we continue to grow at pace, and as our casino business unit goes from strength-to-strength, we’re looking to accelerate this even further in the months and years ahead under Marc’s commercial leadership," Groes said in conclusion.
Before joining the C-suite at EveryMatrix, Burroughes held a number of senior-level roles as part of recognizable companies, including OpenBet, Light & Wonder, as well as IGT, among others.
He has a track record in developing and executing commercial strategies that bring success to businesses within the iGaming vertical.
The senior-level appointment comes after EveryMatrix reported that its CasinoEngine business generated €2.8bn in gross gaming revenue from customers throughout 2024.
This was accomplished after the business helped process more than 73bn game rounds.
