Seeking to enhance the viewing experience of basketball fans for the upcoming NBA season, the premier online gaming company in North America, FanDuel, joined forces with the globally recognizable company, Amazon.
The leading betting company is now the official odds provider on Prime Video for the NBA and WNBA
Under the terms of the newly signed agreement, FanDuel was designated an official odds provider and an official partner of the NBA and WNBA on Prime Video.
Per the recent alliance, basketball fans will be able to access Prime's new bet tracking and Odds View features, delivering engaging experiences.
Besides bet tracking and Odds View, the new agreement will bring compelling narratives for important game moments, as well as unique insights delivered with the help of FanDuel's market-leading sportsbook.
Serving as a premier sponsor of NBA on Prime Video, FanDuel will deliver dynamic betting content during NBA games via Prime Video.
Thanks to the new deal, Prime's NBA analyst, Blake Griffin, will be designated an ambassador for FanDuel.
Highlighting the leading sportsbook's best-in-class NBA offering, the analyst will participate in a range of events with FanDuel, including social media posts, on-air integrations, engaging campaigns, as well as live events, among other activations.
Real-time dynamic betting information can be accessed by bettors
Basketball fans who link their Prime Video profile with their FanDuel account will benefit from the personalized bet tracking experience, Prime Sports.
Fusing streaming and betting, the feature offers real-time dynamic integration of betting information during live games based on the preferences and bets of the consumer.
If a customer links their accounts and has active NBA bets, they will be displayed on the screen together with other relevant information.
Still, it's worth noting that the bet tracking feature doesn't support the ability to place bets via Prime Video.
Odds View will elevate the experience for bettors and sports fans alike by offering a "rotating feed of live odds, lines and probabilities associated with popular bets, including moneylines, spreads, totals, player props, parlays, game props, and more," as explained by FanDuel.
It's worth noting that Odds View experience is available only on supported devices.
Mike Raffensperger, FanDuel's President of Sports, shared his excitement about the deal with Amazon, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"Our partnership as the official odds provider for NBA and WNBA on Prime Video represents a significant milestone in how we connect with basketball fans," he said.
Finally, Raffensperger said: "By integrating custom content into Prime Video's NBA broadcasts, we will enhance the fan viewing experience and connect with new audiences."
Supporting responsible gambling, FanDuel confirmed that bet tracking and Odds View experience can be disabled in the Prime Video mobile app settings.
