The much-ballyhooed MrBeast casino experience at Resorts World Las Vegas was supposed to be a unique opportunity to enjoy the influencer’s company, even if indirectly, through a three-night stay at the seminal property, as well as get access to a full-of-delight MrBeast mystery bag.
The MrBeast casino experience in Resorts World LV leaves fans furious
While this happened in form, fans were furious at the quality of the service and what they received for their money. Supposed to feature on-site activations at select venues across the resort, the MrBeast casino experience at Resorts World Las Vegas quickly turned sour as disgruntled fans and holidaymakers complained about the quality of the service.
The mystery bag touted by the property turned out to be a little more than a package filled with tacky MrBeast merchandise, and even though, people who booked the three-night stay were never told that they would get to see MrBeast himself, they were in fact expecting it, adding to their foul mood.
The whole thing was marketed as an "unforgettable" three-night get-together that cost $1,000 to book. Fans expected to have the opportunity to pose for a photo-op with the world’s most famous YouTuber, as well as meet the man in person.
Some had even hoped for games similar to the ones streamed on MrBeast’s channel. To add further insult to injury, one guest was also supposed to receive a special $10,000 gift voucher, but it has not been confirmed that the money was actually delivered to the person.
Things escalated quickly, as both Resorts World Las Vegas and MrBeast seemingly disavowed the event by removing mentions of it from their official websites. Angry fans spoke to KLAS-TV/Las Vegas, and accused MrBeats, real name of Jimmy Donaldson,of "scam," asking rhetorically if this is how he got subscribers.
MrBeast’s name has often been targeted by scammers, including the infamous MrBeast casino app, which is a series of fake websites and third-party apps meant to dupe fans of the YouTuber into spending money and divulging financial information. However, the Las Vegas experience was supposed to be legit.
MrBeast and Resorts World outline amends
To top it all off, on Day 3, about 30 fans went to the lobby of the Resorts World Las Vegas and demanded refunds, with the property CEO, Alex Dixon, responding in person, and bringing $50 food and beverage credits in tow as well as a box of doughnuts. Previously, the fans had received a box of chocolates on top of their bags.
However, it didn’t take long for MrBeast’s damage control team to get involved, with Donaldson’s official X account acknowledging mea culpa, and inviting people affected by the experience to his studio where they would meet and have the opportunity to make up, as is fitting someone of MrBeast’s stature and net worth.
Resorts World Las Vegas was similarly willing to make amends, notifying fans that they would be refunding their money as well. This is not the first time the popular streamer has caught himself some bad news.
The production of Beast Games also led to a class-action lawsuit filed in September 2024 by five anonymous participants in the show, who accused the hsots of sexual harassment, lack of proper medical care, unpaid wages, and insufficient food.
