California Central Valley's newest entertainment and gaming venue, Hard Rock Casino Tejon, officially opened its doors.
Holding a signature guitar-smashing ceremony, the venue welcomed its first guests on Thursday.

Positioned some 80 miles north of Los Angeles, Hard Rock Casino Tejon represents a multi-phase $600m investment and it marks the first full-scale gaming and entertainment venue in Kern County.
During construction works, 5,000 construction-related jobs were created, while the new entertainment and gaming destination also opened 1,000 new permanent roles.
Promising exceptional gaming and entertainment, Hard Rock Casino Tejon offers 150,000 square feet of gaming space.
On site, guests can benefit from full access to Hard Rock's global loyalty rewards program, Unity by Hard Rock.
The vast gaming space is home to more than 2,000 state-of-the-art slot machines.
Moreover, the newest casino and entertainment venue offers more than 50 table games with fan-favorite games such as Ultimate Texas Hold'em, Blackjack, Baccarat and Three Card Poker, among others.
Equally as important, high-rollers can benefit from elevated gaming experiences thanks to VIP high-limit rooms.
Phase II of the project will bring further amenities
The opening of the casino represents the first phase of the massive project and investment.
Under Phase II, Hard Rock is expected to open a hotel with 400 rooms, along with a Hard Rock Live venue with nearly 3,000 seats where concerts, sporting events and performances can be hosted.
Ultimately, the additional amenities are expected to make Hard Rock Casino Tejon a go-to destination for gaming, entertainment and leisure, boosting tourism in the region, providing jobs and bringing economic stimulus.
Jim Allen, Hard Rock International's Chairman and CEO of Seminole Gaming, shared his excitement in a statement and said: "Hard Rock Casino Tejon is only the beginning."
Finally, Allen pointed out: "Phase II will bring the full Hard Rock experience to life with a world-class hotel and Hard Rock Live entertainment venue that will make Kern County a premier destination for travelers, artists, and fans from across California and beyond."
