The non-profit association backed by operators dedicated to protecting betting integrity, the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), announced a new strategic roadmap for its future and introduced a refreshed brand identity.

Mission 2030 launches with three core objectives

On Wednesday, the Association initiated Mission 2030, a new five-year strategic plan that aims to grow its position as the global standard for sports betting integrity.

Primarily, Mission 2030 seeks to accomplish three core objectives.

Per the plan, IBIA plans to expand its collaboration capabilities by growing its portfolio of partners across the globe.

Equally as important, the Association will focus on improving prevention with the help of better and more effective regulation, policies, as well as player education programs.

The third core objective, as explained in a statement released by IBIA, will focus on strengthening its Global Monitoring & Alert Platform.

This innovative Platform enables the detection of suspicious betting patterns and helps with investigations of integrity-related cases.

According to IBIA, Mission 2030 "serves as a strategic roadmap, setting direction and priorities while allowing flexibility to meet emerging trends, such as AI, crypto, esports and new market openings that are reshaping the betting and integrity landscape at an unprecedented pace."

Earlier this year, IBIA welcomed Starcasino as its latest member.

IBIA releases new logo and slogan

Equally as important, IBIA unveiled its new brand identity, including an improved logo and a slogan.

The Association's new logo features six intertwined segments that highlight the importance of stakeholders for safeguarding betting integrity.

Such stakeholders include regulators, law enforcement agencies, operators, sports, athletes and other institutions related to the sector.

Besides the overhauled logo, IBIA released its new slogan, "Safeguarding Sports Betting," a short and concise statement that points directly to its mission.

Khalid Ali, IBIA's CEO, explained that in time for its 20th anniversary, the Association isn't only focusing on past accomplishments but sets a bold plan for the future.

"Our new strategic roadmap charts how we will continue to deliver best-in-class integrity services to our members, deepen collaboration with our partners, and successfully confront the challenges and opportunities reshaping our industry," he explained.

Moreover, Ali recognized that IBIA will continue to evolve in order to address emerging trends and ensure the integrity of sports, regulated betting markets and safeguard consumers.

Finally, the CEO said: "To achieve our ambitions, we need to evolve and that starts with the way we present ourselves. More than just a visual update, our new brand is a key building block of Mission 2030."
