Koin, one of the leading cashless solutions providers in the iGaming industry, has created a new position designated to harness the advancement of new technology and leverage it to strengthen the company’s offer.

Koin keen to leverage AI and data to boost growth targets

The newly-created Head of AI and Data Strategy position will be filled by Hemash Bhatti, a tech veteran with more than 15 years of experience under his belt who has cut his teeth across Fortune 500 brands, helping them build and scale high-impact data and analytics products and best practices.

Koin President Gary Larkin has welcomed the appointment of Bhatti to the company’s ranks and spoke about the ethical application of AI into Koin’s growth strategy.

"His ability to leverage data for real transformation and client impact will be instrumental as we continue to scale Koin’s data management and analytics capabilities for the benefit of both our customers and partners alike," Larkin said of Bhatti’s appointment.

Bhatti is credited with building solutions that have a real-world impact on businesses and will now be transferring that experience to Koin.

He has helped steer data practices at business behemoths such as Coca-Cola, Disney, Kraft, and the NBA, and is now going to incorporate that experience into Koin’s own product and data offering.

Strong track record of delivering data-driven solutions

He is credited with such achievements as Apply Digital’s digital personalization program for a leading global and food beverage company, the company said in a press release, highlighting his track record and ability to deliver impactful solutions.

He is also credited with the deployment of an AI-powered customer segmentation tool that has helped with contextual customer trait collection by 140% with 90% accuracy.

Koin has seen sustained interest in cashless solutions, as remarked recently by the company’s Chief Strategy Officer, Craig Lisbon, who has acknowledged that more operators are now turning to the company to explore this particular technology.

"Koin is well-positioned to address several challenges that must be managed for cashless to reach its full potential. One is balancing the sensibility of a ubiquitous electronic funding solution with the understandable needs for operators to maintain control over their customer engagements and deliver solutions that will most effectively drive their specific business," Lisbon said at the time. The appointment of Bhatti is the next step towards realizing this goal.
