The luxury hotel, casino and entertainment venue, positioned on the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk, Ocean Casino Resort, is celebrating the culmination of its community outreach and charitable work this year with the launch of the Season of Giving initiative.
The Season of Giving campaign includes a range of charitable events
Launched just ahead of the holiday season, the annual initiative, which is in its fifth year, will support people in need across Atlantic City and the greater South Jersey area.
Part of the Ocean Casino Resort's Ocean Cares, Season of Giving will once again unite employees, guests and community members to make the holiday season brighter for people in need.
Throughout November and December, the Season of Giving campaign will organize volunteering and festive events, as well as charitable giving and donations, helping those who need it most.
The fifth annual campaign kicked off earlier this month with a special event for 13 families.
They were welcomed to Santa's Hideaway Adventure, where they had an opportunity to receive personalized gifts and take festive photos.
Other notable initiatives in November included Thanksgiving lunch at Adelaide's Place and the donation of holiday food essentials for No1Hungry in Egg Harbor City.
Ocean Casino Resort's initiative also contributed $12,000 to Sister Jean's Kitchen and Pantry, provided 200 turkeys to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey and donated another $12,000 for the FoodBank's emergency response fund.
The vital charity initiatives will continue in December
Bill Callahan, Ocean Casino Resort's General Manager, spoke about the new campaign, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"Our team takes great pride in giving back to the community that supports us year-round through Ocean Cares," he explained.
Moreover, Callahan pointed out: "Our giving campaign culminates in the Season of Giving, one of our most meaningful traditions. It allows us to connect with incredible local organizations that make a lasting impact and share the joy of the season in a way that reflects Ocean's values."
Besides the giving initiatives in November, Ocean Casino Resort will continue with its charity efforts in December.
The list of community giving efforts includes the sale of two charitable holiday ornaments that will benefit the Atlantic City–based MudGirls, an organization that seeks to empower disadvantaged women through ceramic arts, as well as the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City.
The ornaments, the Ocean x MudGirls Ceramic Ornament and Ocean Cares Teal Globe Ornament, are available for purchase online at shopoceanac.com and at retail Ocean Casino Resort outlets.
Next month, the popular gaming and entertainment venue will organize winter accessories and toy drives, benefitting Angels in Motion, as well as more events benefitting other organizations.
