The global leader in retail and digital games, services, technology and analytics, powering government-sponsored lottery and betting companies, Scientific Games, extended its successful collaboration with the Ohio Lottery.
Scientific Games and the Ohio Lottery ink new 10-year agreement
Earlier this week, the company revealed it will continue to serve as the primary instant scratch game provider and portfolio manager of the Lottery.
For more than 20 years, Scientific Games served as the primary supplier of scratch-off games to the Ohio Lottery and under the terms of a new agreement, it will continue to hold this strategic role for another 10 years.
Besides industry-leading scratch-off games, Scientific Games will continue to supply the Lottery with its ground-breaking SCiQ ecosystem.
This will enable the Ohio Lottery to easily manage instant games available at its retail locations across the state.
Besides industry-leading reporting, analytics and accounting features, SCiQ strengthens inventory management and offers locked, secured and automated game dispensing bins.
More than 800 Ohio Lottery retailers already benefit from the industry-leading technology and grant the players easy access to user-friendly digital menu boards that simplify the purchasing process of scratch-off games.
Besides SCiQ, the Ohio Lottery will continue to benefit from Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership instant game category management program.
Thanks to the innovative and advanced program, the Lottery has recorded a notable increase in the sales of scratch-off games from $1.6bn for the fiscal year 2019, to $2.4bn in the fiscal year 2025.
The collaboration builds on the success between the duo
John Schulz, Scientific Games' President Americas and Global Instant Products, spoke with excitement about the extended agreement with the Ohio Lottery, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"By applying data-driven game innovation and portfolio management, has continually improved Scratch-Off sales profits to benefit education in Ohio," he explained.
Moreover, Schulz pointed out: "We are very proud that our partnership with the Ohio Lottery is based on collaboration and a deep understanding of the Lottery's business, and we look forward to another 10 years of success together."
According to La Fleur's 2025 World Almanac, the Ohio Lottery is among the top 20 performing lotteries around the world.
It's no surprise that Scientific Games, as a global supplier of content and technology, powers many of the industry's top performing lotteries.
With that in mind, the company has established business relationships with 150 lotteries in 50 countries around the globe.
