Pragmatic Play has once again expanded its global reach, focusing on securing a forward position for its dedicated Sportsbook solution.
This time, the acclaimed supplier of iGaming products and other gaming-related products secured a license in Brazil for the sportsbook suite.
Brazil welcomes Pragmatic Play’s Sportsbook platform
As a result, Pragmatic Play will now forge ahead in the coveted jurisdiction with its sportsbook platform. Brazil introduced regulated iGaming and sportsbook options on January 1, 2025, and has been one of the fastest-growing markets worldwide and in the Latin American region.
While a fairly new entrant in the sportsbook space, Pragmatic Play has amassed relevant experience in providing extensive options for partners to choose from.
Pragmatic Play SVP of Sports, Gareth Crook, has celebrated this new milestone and spoke highly of what it means for the company’s plans, specifically with its sportsbook platform.
"Achieving certification in Brazil is a major milestone for Pragmatic Play Sports and a clear signal of our commitment to the market. It ensures operators can integrate our sportsbook product with full confidence that it meets local regulatory standards."
Pragmatic Play’s sportsbook product features such options as pre-match and in-play markets, official rightsholder betting data, player props, bet builder, and localized features that are specifically optimized to appeal to local customers and sports fans in Brazil.
"With Brazil shaping up to be one of the most dynamic regulated sports betting markets in the world, we’re excited to support operators in delivering a compliant, competitive, and engaging product to their players," Crook added.
The company has been building up its product range tentatively. When it launched, the platform featured a few markets, but it has grown to add some major competitions, including football.
