As the SBC Summit is just around the corner, the event’s Gamification Academy has been introduced.

This new academy, part of a broader initiative, will focus on equipping attendees with the tools they need to boost core metrics for their businesses, such as engagement, retention, loyalty, and differentiation.

In a highly competitive world, iGaming businesses are now fighting tooth and nail to ensure that their offer is precisely what players need. Launched as a collaborative effort with Soft2Bet, Gamification Academy is due to take place on Tuesday, September 16, at the Sala Tejo, MEO Arena.

Gamification Academy joins SBC's Tech Academies series, which already features other core events focusing on Web 3.0 & blockchain, marketing, and AI.

As to the newest entry in this series, the discussions will center on driving loyalty, strategies for introducing gamified features, brand authenticity, and an unfiltered discussion about how gamification can be leveraged in the industry to drive tangible results.

Commenting on the introduction of the Gamification Academy, SBC Founder and CEO Rasmus Sojmark had this to say:

"Gamification has transformed how people interact with digital products across industries, and iGaming is no exception. Players now expect fun, engaging, and rewarding experiences, and that’s exactly what gamification delivers. The Gamification Academy will show the industry how to apply these proven principles to build deeper connections, keep players returning, and create more meaningful player journeys."

The Gamification Academy will get underway under the stewardship of Soft2Bet Chief Product Officer Yoel Zuckerberg, who will lead the "Introduction to Gamification & Player Engagement" workshop.

The Gamification Academy will also be attended by other prominent industry figures whose talent for gamification will be shown during the event, and across various planned discussions and workshops.

Another interesting panel will be "Why Personalization is the Key to Retention," a panel moderated by Soft2Bet Chief Business Development Officer Martin Colins and attended by Chief Business Development Officer Toni Jermaniš (SofaScore), CEO & Co-FounderJosh Jones (Rise & Hustle), and Senior Solutions EngineerAlec Gehlot (Optimove).

The academy will also feature the "Baking in Gamification During Design," led by Alexis Wicen, Scatters Group CEO. Then, there will be "The Metrics of Gamification," which will bring in Uri Admon, Captain Up CEO.

Not least, the academy will wrap up with a panel hosted by Soft2Bet’s Head of Sales, Alon Eshed, who will be joined by Helen Walton (Founder & CCO, G Games), David Olim (CEO, FootAR), and Tom Jang Lemke (CEO and Founder, SavageTech), and take part in "The Five Steps of Gamification."
