The chief executive of one of the fastest-growing lottery courier service providers in the United States recently participated in the annual East Coast Gaming Conference (ECGC), an event that attracted business experts, game developers and other stakeholders who tapped into unique networking and collaboration opportunities.
ECGC creates unique opportunities for operators and regulators to collaborate
The 28th East Coast Gaming Conference wrapped up last week. The annual event was held between April 15 and April 16, 2025, in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Yael Hertz, the CEO of TheLotter Group, a leader in the lottery courier industry, participated in the panel "Future Shock: Confronting Unprecedented Changes in Gaming," highlighting the importance of robust regulation and guidelines for lottery couriers across the country.
Lottery couriers such as TheLotter boost lottery ticket sales through online orders, growing the revenue for local businesses.
At the same time, such operators offer options for responsible gaming and help generate funds for community initiatives, boosting different programs, including education, veterans' services and others.
Participating in the recent ECGC, Hertz supported the establishment of a regulatory framework and guidelines for lottery couriers in each state.
She elaborated further, explaining: "When you understand the pain points and solve them in a way that builds trust, that's how you create meaningful, competitive offerings."

TheLotter secured its first licenses for the country in New York and New Jersey.
At the same time, the company remains laser-focused on growing and expanding its presence further.
According to Hertz, New York and New Jersey, the two states where it holds a license, represent a perfect example of effective regulation that enables lottery courier operators to collaborate with regulators.
It was back in 2023 when Hertz assumed the leadership role of CEO at TheLotter.
Since then, she has played an important role in the company's growth and expansion.
