eGaming Integrity, a company focusing on assisting Isle of Man license holders, strengthened its team of experts with a new appointment.
The company has announced it has selected an expert with more than 20 years of experience in governance and compliance to lead its Internal Audit operations.
Former Playtech exec joins C-suite at eGaming Integrity
As a result, Robert Penfold, a seasoned executive with solid knowledge, extensive experience and deep understanding of compliance, audit and governance, was designated as eGaming Integrity's new Head of Internal Audit.
Joining the company's C-suite, the executive will oversee vital processes related to audit and compliance at a time when regulatory scrutiny is intensifying.
Ultimately, with Penfold's appointment, the eGaming Integrity expects to uphold the reputation for integrity of the Isle of Man.
In a statement, the new Head of Internal Audit shared his excitement and said: "I’m thrilled to be joining eGaming Integrity at such a pivotal time for the sector."
Speaking about his professional background, he said that throughout his career, he played a major role in helping companies establish regulatory frameworks that safeguard their businesses and their clients.

Emma Shilling, eGaming Integrity's Director, was equally optimistic and spoke about the importance of the latest appointment, deeming it a landmark hire.

The new Head of Internal Audit has more than 20 years of experience
Before joining eGaming Integrity, Penfold most recently served as Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager at the Isle of Man Government's Attorney General Chambers.
Throughout his career, spanning more than 20 years, he was also employed at bwin.party digital entertainment plc, where he held a number of important senior-level roles.
Penfold was also part of Playtech plc for more than eight years, serving as Director of Internal Audit and Risk.
Earlier this year, in June, eGaming Integrity hired Alex Myers as Compliance Manager and Head of Training.
