The premier online gaming company in North America, FanDuel, announced a new market access agreement.

FanDuel to launch in Missouri via market access agreement with St. Louis CITY SC

The company confirmed it joined forces with the leading American professional soccer club based in St. Louis, St. Louis CITY SC.

The agreement represents an important achievement for FanDuel as it grants the leading betting and gaming company market access to Missouri.

The strategic move comes at a time when the state is expected to launch its legal mobile sports betting market.

Once FanDuel launches its services in Missouri, it will become the 25th state or territory where the leading betting and gaming company is offering its services.

Notably, FanDuel has already gone live with sports betting in a number of important markets, including New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Colorado, Connecticut, Washington D.C. and Tennessee, among other states.

Mike Raffensperger, FanDuel's President, Sports, shared his excitement about the new market access agreement in Missouri, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.

"Missouri is home to some of the most passionate sports fans in the country, and we are thrilled to partner with St. Louis CITY SC to introduce our industry-leading product to the Show Me State," he explained.

Missouri is expected to launch its betting market in December

Sports betting was legalized in Missouri via Amendment 2, which received support from voters on November 5, 2024.

While the activity is legal, the state is yet to go live with sports betting.

The launch of legal mobile sports wagering in Missouri is expected on December 1, 2025.

FanDuel isn't the only betting operator that plans to launch its services in Missouri with the opening of the state's legal market.

DraftKings, another leading betting and gaming company, said it intends to go live with sports betting on December 1, 2025, the same date planned for the launch of the betting market in Missouri.

Other betting companies, such as ESPN Bet, among others, have also admitted to planning to grow their US footprint with such market entry.
