The leading gaming, hospitality and entertainment company, MGM Resorts International, unveiled several senior-level appointments, strengthening its C-suite.
Fritz named CCO, Molino to assume COO role
This week, the company confirmed the appointment of Gary Fritz for the role of Chief Commercial Officer and President of MGM Digital.
In addition, MGM Resorts said that it selected Ayesha Molino for the strategic position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
While the former's appointment is with immediate effect, the latter will assume the role effective on January 1, 2026.
Fritz has a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as an M.B.A. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Currently, he holds the role of President of MGM Resorts International Interactive, overseeing strategic digital initiatives globally.
Fritz is also a member of the Board of Directors at LeoVegas and BetMGM.
Before joining MGM Resorts, he accumulated significant knowledge and experience by leading multi-national companies such as McKinsey & Company and Expedia, among others.
On the other hand, Molino is also one of MGM Resorts' top execs with significant experience.
She holds a JD from the George Washington University Law School and a BA from the University of California, Riverside.
Currently, she holds the role of President and COO of ARIA and Vdara, two of the most iconic luxury brands in Las Vegas.
Molino also serves as Chief Public Affairs Officer and oversees strategic processes at ARIA and Vdara, including sales, social media, marketing, HR and guest experience, among others.
She first joined MGM Resorts back in 2017 and before that, served as the first Counsel and Chief Counsel of the former Senate Majority and Democratic Leader Harry Reid.
Assuming the role of COO, Molino will replace Corey Sanders, who confirmed his plans to step down from the role, effective December 31, 2025.
Sanders was instrumental in MGM Resorts' success and has been a part of the company for more than three decades.
The two execs perfectly fit the roles
Bill Hornbuckle, MGM Resorts' CEO and President, spoke about the recent appointments.
He acknowledged Molino's solid experience, exceptional performance in resolving complex issues and proven leadership at ARIA.
"Ayesha's ability to unite teams, drive results, and navigate challenges makes her the perfect leader to succeed Corey as COO. I am confident she will continue to help shape our future growth and success," Hornbuckle added.
The company's CEO and President also spoke about Fritz saying: "Gary has been instrumental in establishing and advancing our digital strategy through acquisitions, strategic partnerships and organic expansion of our BetMGM brand into new international markets like Brazil."
According to Hornbuckle, Fritz is an excellent leader, and he will play a major role as Chief Commercial Officer and President of MGM Digital.
