The leading product design and development company, catering to the iGaming and sports betting industry, The Unit, announced a new senior-level appointment.
On Thursday this week, the company confirmed it hired Srdan Srepfler for the role of Vice President, Engineering.
The appointment comes at the perfect time, says the new VP, Engineering
Joining the C-suite at The Unit, the executive brings more than 20 years of experience.
Holding the role of VP, Engineering, he is expected to leverage his extensive experience at a time when The Unit continues to deliver large-scale technology stacks across web, mobile as well as cross-functional platforms.
Srepfler's efforts are expected to make a major difference, putting him in charge of strategic processes.
Undoubtedly, his solid background, which includes senior-level roles at companies such as Huddle and William Hill, will help him in the role of VP, Engineering.
In a press release, Srepfler revealed that it is exciting to join the senior-level team at The Unit.
"This is a fast-growing and exciting business, and it's the perfect time for me to take my next step in the iGaming industry," the new VP, Engineering explained.
Moreover, Srepfler added: "I am thrilled to become a part of The Unit's ambitious plans for growth in the coming years, and I look forward to starting on some of the upcoming projects as part of the company’s next stage of growth."
The executive pointed to his extensive career that focused on building business flexibility, scalability and resilience.
"This is something I am keen to continue at The Unit, and I am very pleased to be given this opportunity," Srepfler added.
Paddy Casey, The Unit's Co-founder, shared the positive vibe and welcomed Srepfler to the growing team at The Unit.

Srepfler brings solid experience and a wide range of skills
Before joining The Unit, Srepfler most recently held the role of VP of Engineering at the leading software provider, Huddle.
Overall, he spent four years with the company, playing a major role in collaborations and integrations with recognizable businesses, including Sportradar, LSports and Genius Sports, among others.
Notably, Srepfler was also part of the C-suite at William Hill, where he held several important roles for a total of seven years.
The new appointment comes on the heels of other senior-level hires announced by The Unit only recently.
Earlier this year, the company named Alan Bruce Sales and Account Director.
In addition, The Unit picked Andy Clerkson for Chairman and appointed Aoife Dillon as Senior Account Manager.
