Xpoint, one of the leading geolocation companies worldwide, has announced a new appointment to its C-suite, bringing Tom Flaherty as the company’s Chief Financial Officer.
Flaherty set to contribute to Xpoint’s growth
By joining the company, Flaherty is set to bolster Xpoint’s growth at a time when the firm has been recognized for its regional and global excellence in providing cutting-edge services to operators and partners looking to ensure full geolocation compliance.
Flaherty is no random pick either, with the seasoned industry veteran having held multiple senior positions across numerous companies, including as CFO at ActiveWorx where he oversaw a successful exit via acquisition last year.
Commenting on his appointment, Xpoint CEO Manu Gambhir welcomed Flaherty to the company’s ranks, and pointed out to the man’s long and relevant experience.
He similarly noted that Flaherty joins at a time when Xpoint is planning to pick up its pace and cement its status as a leading geolocation tech provider, in the iGaming sector in particular. He added:
"Tom’s extensive experience in driving financial strategy, especially within the technology sector, will be invaluable as we continue to expand our global footprint."
Xpoint recently secured a contract to provide The Game LLC, the entity operating the UAE Lottery, with geolocation services to ensure compliance.

The company also successfully pushed back against competitor GeoComply, which sued Xpoint over alleged intellectual property rights infringement, but the case was ultimately shut down by the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Flaherty is joining in these dynamic times for the company to contribute his knowledge and expertise in helping shape its future.
"I’m excited to join Xpoint at this pivotal juncture, and I look forward to collaborating with the team to drive sustainable growth, enhance our operational capabilities, and create long‑term value for our stakeholders through strategic financial leadership," Flaherty wrapped up.
