BetMGM, a leading iGaming and sports betting brand, has announced another important change to its C-level on Friday, with the company appointing Jarrod Schwarz as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer.

Schwarz is no random assignment either, as he is a seasoned company veteran with ample experience across the industry as well as inside BetMGM. He has spent five years as the company's Chief Product Officer and is transitioning into the new position with a solid understanding of the specific needs the company has and the growth opportunities it is pursuing.
Commenting on his appointment, Schwarz shared his enthusiasm to be a part of the team that will help spearhead BetMGM’s next growth chapter, saying, "I’m grateful for the opportunity to step into this role. It’s a privilege to continue the incredible journey we’ve been on at BetMGM, building on our momentum in sports betting and iGaming."
He said he was looking forward to pushing the boundaries of innovation and strengthening BetMGM’s position as a market leader, not least owing to the talented team in the company. Schwarz’s skills are far more far-reaching than his previous position at BetMGM suggests.
Schwarz brings years of relevant experience in spearheading companies to success
He has more than 20 years of decision-making experience across various sectors. Before joining BetMGM, he spent more than seven years at Disney and oversaw the launch of the ESPN Brand. He similarly spent six years at eBay and helped lead Bloomspot, a startup, to a successful acquisition by JPMorgan Chase.
Commenting on his appointment, BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt has said that Schwarz is a person who is an integral part of the team at BetMGM.
"He has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of our business. I’m confident that this change will ensure we continue to deliver exceptional products and experiences to our players," he added.
